Barcelona receive major injury boost before El Clásico against Real Madrid

Barcelona is getting ready to face Real Madrid in a huge El Clásico on Sunday. If Barça could win this match, they can win the 29th La Liga title in history. Marc Bernal's appearance against Osasuna in the final minutes is a boost for Barcelona, and the Catalan giants have additional good news ahead of the mega clash, including the return of key players.

Lamine yamal

Barcelona’s star winger will miss the rest of the season, as reported earlier by the club itself, due to his hamstring injury and is expected to return right before the 2026 World Cup. There is also a chance for Yamal to miss the first two matches of the World Cup if any fitness concerns arise at that time.

Raphinha

Raphinha started to train with the team before the match against Osasuna. The player is expected to play a few minutes in the match, but Flick decided not to rush the player into the match, as El Clásico is coming and the player is on the verge of suspension if he gets a yellow card.

In Sunday's El Clásico, Raphinha is expected to be present, but the likelihood of him starting the match is low; however, he is anticipated to play about 30 minutes in the 2nd half. Raphinha's comeback is a major gain for the team in El Clásico.

Christensen

Christensen was sidelined due to a knee injury, but he has already started training with the team; however, he is not expected to play in El Clásico. Barca expects the Danish defender on the pitch against Alavés in the midweek clash.
