Barcelona is preparing to file a new complaint against refereeing in the UCL quarter-final clash vs Atletico Madrid. Barca got knocked out by Simeone's men by the margin of a goal on aggregate.

Four flashpoints that sparked outrage in the Barça camp

The Barca president clearly stated to the media that they will file a new complaint against the referee's decision, including the sending off of Eric Garcia for a last-man tackle, not allowing the second goal for Ferran, not punishing the dangerous kick against Fermin Lopez from Juan Musso in the penalty box and not awarding a penalty for the push against Dani Olmo by Llorente.

Raphinha’s “robbed” comment adds fuel to the fire

The Barca camp believes that those decisions denied semifinal tickets to them, and Raphinha publicly stated that “the match was robbed”. Barca filed a complaint on the first leg against the referee decisions, but UEFA disciplinary rejected it as inadmissible.

Laporta concludes with saying, “Whoever says that Barcelona receives treatment from the referees is 𝐒𝐇𝐀𝐌𝐄𝐋𝐄𝐒𝐒; we saw that again yesterday."
