Barcelona Monitoring Luka Vušković Closely
Barcelona is examining long-term center back options for the team this summer, preferably a left center back. Barcelona has been following Bastoni for a long time, but the deal still has not progressed. Barcelona is currently in discussions with Luka Vuskovic, a center back from Tottenham Hotspur, as one of their summer targets.
Young Defender Impressing in Germany
Luka Vušković is a 19-year-old player currently playing in the German club Hamburger SV on loan from Tottenham Hotspur F.C. At this young age, the player is showing a very mature performance in defense with and without the ball. Vušković is exceptionally strong, a quality that Barcelona currently lacks in their defense. The player also has high quality in interceptions and tackles on the ground fearlessly.
Versatility and Ball Quality Stand Out
Player is extremely good on the ball with carrying and good passing range, which pushes his ceiling further higher at this age. Vuskovic is primarily right-footed but also able to handle the left center back role, which shows his versatility and adaptability.
Barca Using Zahavi Connection in Talks
The player is not expected to continue at Hamburg SV on loan, and Spurs are preparing a heavy salary hike to keep the player in the team for the long term. The player has not decided whether to stay or leave, but Barcelona is already in talks with Pini Zahavi, who is the agent of Vuskovic and also the agent of Hansi Flick. Pini Zahavi holds a positive relationship with Barca, which is an added advantage for the Catalans to beat the heavy hike of Spurs this summer and convince Vuskovic.
