Flick And Deco Reach Full Agreement
After Barcelona secured their record-breaking 29th La Liga championship, it has been claimed that Flick and the club’s sporting director Deco have come to terms regarding a new contract extension that will see the German coach stay at Barcelona until 2028, with the possibility of extending it until 2029.
Contract Talks Finalized After Months Of Discussions
From the month of April there were discussions regarding contract extension with Deco and Flick's agent Pini Zahavi, which was finalized today, but Flick will not sign the contract immediately, as he wants to prioritize the team winning the remaining matches and earning 100 points in La Liga this season.
Official Signing Expected After Laporta Presidency Renewal
Flick is happy with the team and atmosphere from day 1, and he already announced that Barcelona will be his last club in his career. Rafa Yuste stated during the celebration that “Renewing Flick's contract will be easy," showing the smooth relationship of Flick and management, but the official contract signing will be done after the new presidency of Joan Laporta takes place.
